Born Patricia Petyarre in 1982, Delvine is the youngest of six children to Michael Kngwarreye and Glory Ngale, a very rewown artist.
Delvine Petyarre is a highly respected Anmatyerre artist from the Utopia region of Central Australia, known for her intricate, fine dot-work paintings, born into a renowned artistic family.
Delvine Petyarre is the younger sister of well-known Utopia artist Anna Petyarre, her mother is the late Glory Ngale, and also related to the famous artists Gloria and Kathleen Petyarre, Kudditji Kngwarreye and Emily Kame Kngwarreye, through her grandparents.
Her father, brother of Emily Kame Kngwarrye, passed away when she was just a young girl.
Delvine Petyarre’s subjects include Bush Yam and Yam Seed Dreamings, which are associated Dreamings from her grandfather’s .
