Tanya Price Nangala was born in 1972 in the Utopia region of the Northern Territory. Utopia is located approximately 300km North East of Alice Springs and is home to many well-established artists. Tanya lives in Alice Springs with her daughter and very large extended family. Tanya is a recognised artist who learnt her Dreaming stories from her grandparents.

Over the years, Tanya has developed her own unique style to represent the Utopia Country. Tanya, with her older sister Gracie, has been painting since early. Her painting style is very refined, even dotting describing women’s ceremony and gathering bush foods. All of her designs are associated with the stories belonging to her father’s country.
