The meanings behind Tingari paintings are multi-layered, however, those meanings are not available to the uninitiated.

The Tingari Cycle refers to the ancient stories of the Tingari people who traveled the land during the mythological times. The events associated with the Tingari Cycle are secret and a full explanation of the true meanings of the Dreaming is to never be shared among the uninitiated.
