Story:
Two Women Dreaming is an important documented design in soft cover titled Papunya Painting by Vivien Johnson held in the National Museum of Australia Collection Page 72 By Shorty Lungkarta Tjungurrayi (Debra’s Grandfather) Kungka Kutjarra (the two women's ancestors) wandered through the country around Warlungurru (Kintore) in the dreaming. They tracked a perentie lizard, creating a soakage at Lampintjanya near the Kintore Range as they speared the giant lizard with a digging stick. The women then travelled through Kultukatjarra (Docker River) to Illiningarrara and eventually, Tjukurla.
An example of an extra large design 307cm x 110cm was commissioned by a client to add a real showpiece feature going up her staircase.
